Gramma's Baked Macaroni and Cheese ·2 tbsps. of butter ·1/4 cup of diced onions ·1/4 cup of diced celery ·1 can of cream of mushroom soup ·2 cups of grated old cheddar cheese ·1/2 cup of diced canned tomatoes ·3 cups of cooked elbow macaroni and ·Bread crumbs (bought or crumble 1 slice of dry bread) 1. In a large fry pan, sauté the onions and celery in butter or until it’s tender. 2. Add the mushroom soup and stir until it’s smooth. Add the cheese and blend until the cheese is melted. 3. Add the macaroni and tomatoes and stir well. Place in a casserole dish, cover the top with bread crumbs and bake for 30 minutes.
