Ben and Jerry's Cherry garcia

INGREDIENTS
• 1/4 cup shaved or chopped dark chocolate
• 1/4 cup maraschino cherries, 
0.25 cup juice from cherries
• 2 cups regular or heavy whipping cream
• 1 cup half and half
• 0.5cup granulated white sugar
0.25 brown sugar
1 tsp maple extract
1 3.05 box instant pudding 
INSTRUCTIONS
1. 
Pl	ace shaved chocolate flakes and the cherries in separate bowls. Cover and refrigerate.

Mix cream,  and juice from cherries

mix half and half, instant pudding  and sugar in a saucepan. Place saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is hot. Remove pan from heat.
4. 
Pour into ice cream freezer and follow the manufacturer's instructions.  Add the chilled chocolate and cherries at the 	very end of processing, just until mixed in.
