Chicken 3 or 4 boneless chicken breasts Water to fill the crockpot Salt Garlic Basil Oregano 4 quart crockpot 1. Place frozen chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot. 2. Fill the crockpot with water. 3. Add spices to taste. 4. Cook on high until chicken comes out done (approximately 4 hours if frozen.) 5. When chicken is done, use tongs to remove them from the crockpot. 6. When meat is cool, break into bite sized pieces and return to the crockpot. Dumplings 1/2 tsp > baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 3 tbsp shortening 1 1/4 cup buttermilk or 2% milk 2 C flour 1. Mix all of these ingredients into a good sized bowl using a wooden spoon or your hands. 2. Shape dumplings into balls using an ice cream scoop or your hands. The dough will be very sticky at this point. 3. Place dumplings back into the crockpot. Stir well. 4. Cook on high for 10-15 minutes. 5. When dumplings reach the desired consistency, turn off heat.
